Replacing a sink can be an easy or hard job. Answering some questions would be helpful.



1. What kind of sink do you currently have? (stainless, porcelain etc)



2. What type of mounting is it? (Overmount/dropin or undermount)



3. What kind of sink do you want to replace it with?



4. If it’s undermount, what kind of countertops do you have?



5. Will you also be replacing the faucet and drain?

Ok, the first step is finding a dropin sink that you would be interested in. Be sure to make sure the sizes are correct. Then you should answer the following 2 questions.



1. Will you also be changing the faucet?



2. Do you currently have a garabage disposal?

I will need a plumber to look and tell me if faucet needs changing and yes we do have a garbage disposal

Your faucet only needs changing if 1) it’s broken or leaking 2) you don’t like the look of the faucet. You should talk with My if she likes her new faucet. Her old was one working, but it’s always nicer to have a new one expecially if you’re getting a new sink. If you’re serious about changing the sink and/or faucet, you really need to purchase the sink and faucet ahead of time before the plumber can come in. Once you decid on what you want you want do, I can give you an estimate.
