The long and short of it is, KaZuum's had a serious set back the past month, some drama but we've been able to move past it.
I'm trying to rebuild the categories database and will be having the help of lionhead chris tomorrow on it.
Aside from that please bear with me, there's certain things not working, but I'll be handling them in due time.

[[9.7.08] Outbound links in posts
Those of you who have outbound links in your posts, please use the Post Links feature instead.
We're doing this to try to conserve outbound linkage in KaZuum to make it more attractive to Google's SEO crawl.
This benefits both the site and your posts as it will drive up KaZuum's pagerank, and make it easier for people to find your post on Google.

I've changed the feed mode to an anonymous subscription model to cut back on spam and stuff that might be annoying to everyone.
So basically if you want to keep tabs on a friend, go to your friends list, then click the "m" letter under actions.
This tells KaZuum when you want to know when something about that user has changed. Right now, it's limited to:
New posts
added a friend
changed a picture
updated their profile
updated their status
more stuff forthcoming.
There's 3 types of notifications on KaZuum - email, system, and feed alerts. These are managed in Settings > notifications,
so you can receive emails or not regarding your subscriptions.
